ATA - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi all, I truly hope each and every one of you had a fabulous holiday and
new year. There will probably be a followup e-mails over the next week as
we get started for the year.

First of all, we had a great showing at our New Year's Workout last night!
Absolute champion tigers, kids and adults made into the school and had a
great time.

Regular classes will begin this Monday, January 6 as we officially reopen
for the year. A number of exciting events on on the horizon.

A few notables for the month are:

January 11 - Saturday open for classes

January 18 - Free Women's Self-Defense seminar, check in at 1:45 pm, wear
sweats. This event is usually $39 per person, however, I am starting the
year off with a free SHARP seminar (sexual, harassment, assent and rape
prevention seminar). This is open to all adult and teen woman both
students, parents, grandparents and anyone you would like to invite.
Minimum age is 13 unless there is special permission. Adult topics will
be discussed. No experience is necessary. See sign-up sheet on the front
counter.

Additionally on January 18 - between 9:30 - 2 we will have a vendor
showcase of local crafters and fun set up in the school. Invite your
friends to check it out. This will be occurring in the back of the school
while normal classes are rocking out front. There will also be a drawing
for a basket of goodies several hundred dollars in value just for stopping
in. Questions, see Master Black. (BTW, this is a way to not only have
some fun in the school on a Saturday, but to align with other businesses
in the community to bring new faces into our wonderful school. - would
really appreciate your support in the getting the word out that we are in
a membership drive MODE).

Saturday, January 25, in school CLASS C MINI TOURNAMENT. Stay tuned for
exact schedule, but tentatively, Judges and helpers will arrive promptly
at 8:45-9:00 am, with competition to begin by 9:30 am. I would like to get
this rolling asap that morning (as I would like it to be completed by 12
noon). We need 30 registered to host including at least 10 helpers.
Adults will compete first with all kids following. Once we know who is
registered, a more complete agenda will be sent out. If we do not make
the mark by the Wednesday prior, the reschedule date will occur in MARCH
OR APRIL.

LASTLY, we will be starting BLOCK A (WHITE, ORANGE, CAMO, PURPLE AND
BROWN) next week. Go

particulars for the block.

Side note: Myself, my husband, son plus Justine Ewing are attending
Advocare's Regional Success School here in Denver on January 4. I am so
excited that this wonderful company chose this beautiful city to host
their event. I think they are expecting a few thousand and I'm sure we
will be filled with great new information. Stay tuned for updates. I am
also my first ever GROUP 24 Day Challenge (all you have to do is purchase
a 24 day challenge, follow the plan, weigh and measure) and you have a
chance to win some $$. Must start by January 15. See Master Black for
