Just a reminder, this Saturday May 17 is our school's annual 5K, Picnic and Outdoor workout. This year's location is new at Kendrick Lake Park (between Garrison and Morrison on the north side of Jewell). Much closer to our school, formerly we were at Clement Park. Check in is at 9:00 am at the main Shelter. PICK UP YOUR BIB NUMBER. We need helpers/volunteers to help set up and cheer on our 5K participants. Volunteers/timers, please arrive at the site by 8:45 am. 5K will kick off at 9:30 am. After the FUN run/walk we will announce the winners for both men and women, and enjoy our potluck lunch. Everyone, please bring something to share. The school will supply the plates, napkins, water. THIS EVENT WILL OCCUR, RAIN OR SHINE (OR SNOW). THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR SHARING THIS EVENT WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
May 17 @ 11:00 am ALL SCHOOL WORKOUT AT KENDRICK LAKE PARK - FREE - At 11:00 am this Saturday the 17th, we will have AN ALL SCHOOL OUTDOOR WORKOUT! It is FREE and a way for everyone to get to know each other. It will be a fun style workout including a few games/relays and ? We need all instructors in attendance. To kick off the workout we will have both Team Vital Force and Team X Elite do a short demonstration. Great way to share our ATA Family with your friends, invite a buddy!
Saturday's main event (the 5K) is designed to raise money for our at-risk youth program Team Pride. Cost is $25 per runner. The rest of the morning's activities are FREE, unless of course you would like to donate really anything. We are accepting business sponsors, see attached info for businesses. I'd like to thank Tagawa Gardens, as they are the first business sponsor and have been a part of our race for the last four years.
We WILL HAVE regular class times Monday thru Thursday this week, and of course, CLOSED on Saturday due to our special event at Kendrick Lake Park.
