Region 109 School Owners,
Hopefully each of you received a packet of information earlier this year outlining the new organization that was founded, Katie's Kids, in memory of Ms. Katie Pederson. If you did not receive the packet of information in the mail, it has been attached to this email for your review.
Katie's Kids was founded so that financial hurdles won't prevent students in our region from attending our great tournaments and camps. We're honored to do this work in Katie's memory and hope that each of you will take advantage of the opportunity the organization provides to help students in need. We have another upcoming Regional Tournament on November 8th and scholarships are available!
Please complete the attached application using the instructions included to apply on behalf of any of your students that might need financial assistance for the upcoming tournament. Please have all applications submitted no later than November 3rd so that we can notify you of any awards by November 5th and the students can prepare for the tournament as needed. I apologize for the short notice on this tournament but we hope that you are still able to apply as needed, applications will be turned around for approval as quickly as possible.
