Parents - please read this email to your children.
Congratulations on all your hard work. We are heading into our testing week. It is typical that those that have testing jitters tend to have some doubts every cycle when we are one week away. This is normal.
DID YOU KNOW? Face your fear. Whenever possible, do the thing that is causing you to be nervous and scared. Then, the next time you have to face your fear your nerves will probably not bother you as much. Each time you face your fear your anxiety will diminish more and more. (E-HOW)
Thursday night, February 19 - regular classes. It's t-shirt night as well. Focus on proper technique, attitude and follow-thru, especially those that are breaking boards. Breaking boards is merely a result of proper technique, speed and confidence. These traits are honed in our sparring classes.
Saturday, February 21, regular classes.
Monday, February 23, regular classes. Also on Monday, we will have regular classes at 5:15 pm for White-Blue Belts and 6:00 pm Tigers. High ranks (brown-black belts) we have a mandatory testing rehearsal Monday night at 6:30 pm. We will be doing a full testing run thru.

Tuesday, February 24
4:30 pm Junior Leader and Teen Leadership training/meeting. All juniors please attend. In addition to some of you assisting with Tiger Testing, this is an opportunity for each of you focus for your testing one last time.
5:00 pm WHITE-YELLOW TIGER TESTING
6:00 pm Brown-Black Belt Testing
Wednesday, February 25
Doors open at 5:00 pm
5:30 pm Adult leadership meeting and training (then stay to judge/assist testing)
6:15 pm All White-Blue Karate Kids and Adults PLUS
all Camo-Purple Tiger TESTING
Thursday, February 26 - regular class - All colored belt awards in each class.
Last day to register and PAY (even if you registered online) is Thursday, February 26.
BLACK BELT AWARDS WILL BE HELD AT OUR FIRST ANNUAL LOYALTY BLACK BELT DINNER ON SATURDAY, MARCH 7 AT 5:30 PM. Dress up, no uniforms.
If any of our junior black belts would like to put together a short demonstration to perform that night, please let me know asap. Also, if there are any Leadership colored belts that would like to assist at the black belt dinner (i.e. set up, clean up, serving, etc.), let me know. We need you!
Save the date, Saturday, April 4, annual Tiger Easter Egg Hunt at 10:15 for all kids! Karate Kids, you can come too! Junior leaders, we need your help to hide the eggs! Regular KK class at 10:45 am following the Easter Egg Hunt!
