Hello everyone, I've been in Chicago visiting my elderly parents, I am flying back in this afternoon and will be in the school tonight. We will be emailing a belt/patch order after classes tonight for the March 2 Awards Ceremonies in regular class. If you would like to stay on track as you have worked very hard since January 1 to test, midterm, practice test and support the process of ATA Rank Promotions, today is your final day to register and pay for your testings. Tonight and tomorrow are regular classes and they are test preparation themed. Regular Legacy class, however, will occur tomorrow night.
Wednesday and Thursday are rank promotions testings. Wednesday is for White/Orange Belts plus Red/Black Belts; Thursday is for Yellow thru Brown Belts. Please be ready to go by 5:30 pm. I recommend, if you can, arrive at 5:15 pm each evening. Stay in communication to let us know if you will be running late or need to test on the alternate evening. We want everyone to support and cheer for each other. Encouraging each other is as valuable as being proud of yourself. This is a team effort.
Saturday, regular class times. Awards next Wednesday March 2.
Saturday, Monday and Tuesday will feature a self-defense, fitness, bullying prevention and fun themes as we kick off our new cycle. Perfect time for a new student to try a class or even mom or dad. Parents that train and experience ATA are awesome!
Special thanks to my staff who kept a steady hand not he ship while I was gone.
See you tonight (let's hope all the planes leave and arrive on time!).
Take care, in Songahm.
